In search of Love...

A lady dear to me asked me recently if I was looking for love and if I still wanted to be with someone. I told her I wasn't actively searching.

I would rather just wait and leave it up to the Lord to see if it is still part of God's plan for my life.

Been there, done that. I choose this attitude towards having a relationship because I have learned that each and everytime we try to force things in search of love, it backfires. Everything seems to go wrong and things hardly turn out the way they should. Yup. Hardly does. Trust me.

Why don't they? Because God intends everything to be given through grace. He after all, is the Giver. He is in control and He blesses the gifts he gives us. I have this line engraved in my heart, "Kung ibibigay Nya, at kung ipagkakalob Nya, tanggapin ng buong loob."

And if nothing good happens? I will not fret. And even then, I would still give Him thanks and praise because I know that He only wants what's best for me. And when the time comes when I will see God face-to-face one day, I will know the reason behind everything that has ever happened in my life. And it will be a cause for rejoicing!

Lonely nights. Yes, there are lonely nights... empty nights. When I'd want to cuddle up to someone whom I love and who in turn loves me.

What I do instead. I exert enough effort to think of other things to divert my attention. I hold on to my faith and love for Jesus and Our dear Lady(who is the perfect example of modesty and faith).

One day.. it will all be a cause for rejoicing! Cheers...

a person will come into our lives at the moment we least expect it... he may not be staying for long, he might be someone you'll be spending you whole life with. but the most important things is, you get to learn something out of it,you get the chance of experiencing something that is outside of your jurisdiction. and the feeling is extraordinary.

don't fret ma'am, he'll come to you in a least expected moment of you time. and for that, rejoice and thank god for his blessing.
